Bracket design has been sorted out. The lower control arm and toe arm pickups will have 3 available settings: stock, +1.00", and +2.00". Naturally, the control arms and toe arms will be adjustable in length as well.
I sold my 1G GSX because of a bad transmission, and now im buying a beat up 2G gst just so i can do an awd swap using this here frame of yours! You have one sold already, otherwise i wont be having awd... and that will make me sad. Its good to see that your catering to the road race crowd as well as the drag race crowdsI wonder too.I wonder how much these will run?
I won't have an answer for that until I get one finished. I have a ballpark in my head, but I'd rather not speculate just yet. I'm guessing 800-1200 but I could be wrong. Regardless, it will be a lot cheaper than Magnus which is a huge plus.
I probably won't be afterall. Mostly because they will be available from Frontline Fabrication. Andrew already has his fixture finished and his design worked out and it's an excellent looking piece. I figure, if I can't improve upon it, then I'm not going to bother building them just for the sake of competition. And I'm definitely not going to copy his either.and to hear if Paul is still thinking of going through with a tubular front cross member.

are you still going to work on a tubular front subframe?
Kevin
Not sure who you referring to there.
I will hopefully be picking one of 99gst_racer's rear tubular subframes in the near future in person.
I would also be very very interested in a tubular cro moly subframe for the front. I would not be upset if the front tubular subframe did not replace any of the control arms as there is quite a bit more involved there. But hopefully it'll address issues with roll center. I'm no where near as concerned about the front cross member. Frontline fabrications front cross member is a nice part but not crucial to my build at this point as the subframes are. My intent is road racing pure and simple. Or to be more accurate high speed autocross.
What you are calling the subframe is known in the mitsu feild service manual as a crossmember.
The unit that Andrew at Frontline is curently offering is called the center member in the FSM.
Andrew had plans to build a tubular crossmember for the front at one point and I put him in contact with Andrew Brilliant to talk about pickup points. Drew is one of the only people I know that has a working model of our suspension. At this time I do not know if Andrew at frontline is going to build them or not.
Hope that clear up what I was saying.
