k so i just bought a '95 eclipse rs. once i got it home i noticed that the trunk was completly rusted out. (Something the guy failed to mention) i'm trying to find just a trunk of an eclipse or talon that i can just cut out the spare tire bowl and i would just weld it in but no one will let me cut out just the bowl. There is a '93 eclipse that i have found that i can cut out the spare tire bowl but my question is, is it the same size, shape? pretty much will it fit into my '95?

If you have the skills to cut out and re-weld in a new bowl, why don't you just fab up a custom trunk floor? Prob save some money and it would look trick!

ya i could do that and i will if the trunks are not the same. i'm just thinking it would be easier

The 93 is a completely different shape than the 95 and wouldn't just cut off and go in. For the amount of work that would take just make your own. Or wait until you find a 2G shell ready to be cut apart.
