Trunk Struts

There going to be to short. Plus, the hatch is heavier than a hood.

Theres a guy on ebay who sells hatch struts for our cars for pretty cheap. I think I got a set for my 1g for around $50 shipped, and they fit perfectly.

Shipping was quick, highly recommended!

I cant remember the username... let me see if I can find it.

EDIT: OK I found the guy. His ebay user ID is: mrlousstuff

He has over 22,000 feedback, AND is still at 100% (not 99.9, 99.8 etc, like other sellers)

Like I said, I couldn't be happier with my struts.

I got a set for my 1g off JCWhitney. I'm sure they have them for the 2g as well.

I'm not really sure how AZDave got his to be as good as it is, but he managed to make his pop like it was on a mechanical actuator or something. It's impressive.

Daves got some cool stuff with his 2g, I think its nitrogen shocks he uses with a remote unlock. I had some of those ebay shocks and its been two years and they only hold my hatch up about 80% now, but they did work great when new.
