Trashed turbo opinions

I will explain in detail what was going on when this happened, but I need some unbiased opinions first please. I will add a picture here so you can see it. I just need some opinions on what could or would have caused this. Short version for now, driving down the road and engine pretty much quit running and this is what I found.

just say it with me..... goooooooooooooooooooooozzzzzzz fraba gst's are honestly the most aggravating things in the world when they're not running i'm stuck waiting on parts then this sucker is getting flat bedded to a shop to get the studs removed and the compressor changed, so i started cleaning out the interior and found out the center console wasn't even screwed down and i found a shifter piece under there along with a bajillion random screws and bolts :\

That's minor man.... Quit bein pissed off and you'll find you can get a 14b and 14b install kit for decently cheap and your set

A piece of hose, a small chunk of thick hose like for a coupler that the last owner had on that came loose on the end of the intake pipe connecting to the turbo.

niiiiiiiice. time to search out another 'gently' used turbo (i said gently and giggled to myself) no worries! you'll get there buddy!
