Let me spin you up real quick, Im in alaska, it was -30F , i dident plug my car in, went to start it in the morning , dident start, cranked it for way to long, flooded the engine, tryed again the next day, flooded the engine. I go get new plugs thinking the plugs are fouled out. put the new plugs in and she starts right up. AWESOME! i run inside and let her idle for about 20 mins -=fast forward=- I hear an unusual idle so i run outside to check it out. i get out there and im like crap, i hook my laptop up and log the idle, AEM UGEO reads 10.00 for NOT air fuel ratio. and oil pressure gauge reads about 3...... as im looking at this in shock i get out and look at the tail pipe (black soot pooooring out..it was dark out..) i start to hear a REALLY HIGH PITCHED RINGING noise (like when you run your finger around a crystal class) i go oh F*CK and cut her off. I pull the dipstick out and smell it. FUEL! Straight Up Fuel. like as in "would you like some oil with that fuel son?" What have i done..... is this game over?

*starts praying*

Well back in the good days aircraft used gas as a oil dulute for cold wether opperations, needless to say they gave the engines a good long runup to evaporate the gas before they went flying. What was happening(I think!) the gas was starting to evaperate and was mixing with the air up stream of the induction system and along with the PVC system dumping more raw vapor shot the mixture dead ritch.

Before you jump off the deep end drain the oil and replace the filter refill the system preheat it and try it again. bleave it or not gas has some luberaction properties. Odds are you did not kill the engine (might not have helped it) but it's worth a shot.

thank god... but what about the ringing sound... were my pistons doing there own custum honeing job on the cylinder walls due to lack of lubrication? ><

No Idea but as I said in post 1 what do you have to loose. If it's toast your out 5qts of oil and a filter.

Fingers crossed &good luck.

With a night to sleep on it the sqeel might be the cams galling into the head:mad: You might want to remove the cam cover and pull the cam caps (one at a time) and check for damage.

so i drained the oil and poured 2 cheap quarts down there to somwhat flush it out. i filled it up with 5 quarts of mobil one (wanted to overfill it to soke everything) and a new filter and started her up. Oil pressure fine, temp fine, air fuel ratio between 14.7: to 15.3: idle was great until it warmed up. as it warmed up i thought i could hear some unusual noise coming from the bottom end. and every time i heard the very faint noise the RPM would drop from 1000 rpm-650 and go back up. i dont know if thats cause i put 5 quarts of 5w-30 in there er what, but it is running! i shut it down and im just gonna let it soke for awile.

5qts. with a filter change is full not over full. I would go out and drive it, at this point and time you are not going to hurt anything else. If anything is toast MAN it will tell you soon enough.

Some times they say enough is enough, mine just made metal with 204k on the clock. It might be time for it to visit the great talon grave yard.
