transmission shift sensor questions

I think I may know why my 1g tranny. Is in limp mode, someone told me. Both shift sensors on top of the tranny. Are bad. Can I use sensors from a fwd. If mine is an awd. As long as it's a 1g ... Please still me know there is one in the junkyard.

I doubt it seeing as the trans are different, one might be the same but that is a big maybe.

"Limp mode" yes its an auto.
