Transmission Question help??????

Here is the deal i broke my Tranny i own 97 GSX and a buddy just got me a new one but it is from 96 talon " fit or no (asking ### dif ratio i am not sure ive seen in some places that will and in some that not???

1995-1996 used a different transfer case than the 1997-1999. So no it won't work unless you get a matching transfer case to the year transmission you are using. 95-96 have different spline counts than 97-99.
