transmission question

hey guys this may be a dumb question but i need to know anyway.i know there is a slight difference in the 1st gen tranny between turbo and non turbo,but is there any difference in 6 bolt and 7 bolt tranny?as far as im aware the 6 and 7 bolt only has to do with the engine side correct me if im wrong,thanks guys.

90 trannys are different in a couple aspects that make them a pita to interchange with other years but they will physically bolt up, and the older trannys (pre-93 I belive) are a bit weaker but 6/7 bolt trans will bolt up the same assuming 91-94.
