ok well first it started grinding in 2nd gear so i started going from 1st to 3rd for a couple days and then while i was driving all off my gears started grinding so i pulled over and tranny fluid was pouring out of my tranny. now obviously my tranny is messed up, but i was wondering if im going to have to replace the whole thing or possibly just fix whats wrong with it? if anyone can i help i would appreciate it

yeah all three lockers seem to be there. i was told that i might just be able clean all the metal shavings out and put it back together with a new front case???

but if the car wont move when in a gear something further inside has to be broken, i think some of the teeth might have sheared off the gears causing them to go through the trans and finally punctured on the outer case, if its not the front diff possibly something else but the trans needs to be further torn down to inspect the damage, where the drive gears are.

thats exactly what i thought. i figured something must have gone wrong in order for this to happen in the first place. could it be from running it with low tranny fluid? my lil brother, which has been using the car just told me that he hasnt changed the tranny fluid in a while, and that he wasnt sure if he filled it all the way the last time he did change it
