Transmission problem

Hello everybody! I'm trying to figure out a 91 laser that my brother started a project on.

He rebuilt the automatic transmission for school and we are having problems figuring out where the wiring harnesses all go. There seem to be many simular harnesses that can go together in multiple configurations.

Can anybody on here help me and tell me which color wires we match up, or offer any help on getting this sucker running. Right now we have forward gears but no reverse, and when we had the wiring harnesses different we had just the opposite.

any suggestions?

don't mean to be an ass, but doesn't anybody have a clue? Is there a resource on the web I could use to find out? I'm really new to all the mechanical systems of the dsm.

don't know too much about A/T - and i remember when i had an old 90rs, all the harnesses were different.
