Alright so without a major or even a Minor problem w/ the good 'ol turbo DSM last night i had its first in two weeks anyways things you should know i just had a 6 bolt motor swapped into the 95 GSX with the 95 Eprom ECU i also had a CFDF (centerforce Dual Friction) clutch put in during the swap i have a short sifter as well (which I'm worried caused/causing it) its a findza (sp?) the people that make the flywheels anyways everything "drivetrain wise" worked great till now it is prolly about 45 degrees outside and i go out to start the car and the clutch is really really light it starts no problem let it warm up for a few mins and put it into reverse and it wont go the shifter wont engage after 4 or 5 mins of pumping the clutch and playing w/ the shifter trying to get it in gear it goes in and has the same problem going into first drove it for a bit and it shifted nice and smooth i also have the shifter bushings. then i go home get up next morning does the same thing finally get it in gear driving for a bit push in the clutch and it is still very very loose it seems and i notice that it doesn't go into neutral (sp?) it stays in gear its very hard to pop it out of gear so I'm concluding that the clutch isn't engaging disengaging and that I'm shifting w/o the clutch i have no launches on the car w/ the new motor and clutch does anyone know what i can do.

alrighty so today i did some few general checks i went down and looked at the pedal to make sure there was nothing ubstructing it and i noticed i had a leak comming from the rod that pushes into what i think is the master slave i then checked my fluids and guess what...out completly dry went to the parts store picked up some pumped it up and it fixed it kinda. now it shifts nice and smooth but has alot of problems griding etc going into 2nd my frind said i need a new master slave clyinder which i can understand since its leaking all the fluid out would i need to replace the slave cylinder as well? i don't know anything about this i just know you have a master and a slave and the master is in the engine sorry for my stupidity thanks for any help :thumb:

alrighty changed the master cylinder and fixed the clutch pedal so i don't have to push all the way down it is still doing the 2nd gear grind but as before if you pump i, it wont do it thanks for any help

First thing, is you should've replaced the slave and master cylinders at the same time.
Second, you need to properly bleed the clutch system.
Get a quart of DOT 3 brake fluid and a funnel.
A jar of some sort.
Fill jar about 2" deep with brake fluid.
Get a clear hose, 1/8" ID about 2' long and attach it to the bleeder screw of the slave cylinder.
Put the other end into the jar with the end of the hose submerged in the 2" of brake fluid.
Fill master cylinder reservoir to max fill line, cap it and have someone pump the clutch pedal about 10 x's,
hold it to the floor, and you, get under your car and crack the bleeder screw on the slave cylinder.
You'll notice dirty fluid being pushed out of the hose end that's in the fluid.
Also, air that's trapped in the system should come out looking like cotton mouth spit.
Do this three times max, and check your fluid level, add some if necessary.
Some people will tell you that it's not necessary to use a hose submerged in the fluid, but I'll to you right now,
that if you don't you run the risk of allowing air to enter thru the bleeder screw and mess the system up.
Give it a try and do it several times til there's no spit coming from the end of the hose.
Also, get one of those Stainless Steel Clutch Lines from RRE or SBR.
It really helps a lot with the pedal feel.

the clutch lines were properly bleeded i'll replace the slave clyinder and try it agian thanks alot

Oh, and not to be a penus or anything, but it's properly bled.

ANd hope once you have it that you can get the darned brass fitting to come loose.
Mine rounded off even with a 10mm line wrench, so I can't put the darn line on.
