Hello, I am a newbie here but I have a transmission problem on my 1995 Eagle Talon ESI. It would not shift into 4 or OD so I was told I needed a new transmission. So I got the new transmission installed which through off my speedometer which is fine because I don't look at it anyways until I see blue lights.... it did good for about 6 months and it started doing the same kind of thing so I replaced the transmission while under the replacement warranty. Now after 3 months it is doing it again and I am tried of spending the money to get the transmissions installed... I have been told it could be the computer or a sensor... I am asking anyone for any type of advise because I am just about to trash it.... PLEASE help.... Anyone in NC that would be interested in taking a look please holla....

Thanks

I believe you mean 3 then OD. Anyhow it sounds like your end clutches are being burnt up. You can order an upgraded end clutches from IPT pretty cheap, and its a DIY fix. Hope this helps your problem.
