transmission has no gears every gear is neutral

i have a 99 gst 5 speed and the last week every once and a while it would not want to go into certain gears when i shift. It started to get worse as the week went on then 2nd 4th and reverse didnt work at all it was like shifting into a wall. I coulnt move the shifter past the netural position only first 3rd and fith would work and they worked fine. Now i tryed putting the car in first and it all just broke you can move the shifter around and there is nothing there at all the shifter moves freely like the tranny isnt hooked up every gear is nutural. i checked the shifter lines they are working fine, my clutch and flywheel have 3,000 miles on them act 2100 and street light flywheel can anybody tell me what this is? I need to fix asap thanks

I would double check to make sure the bolts that hold the bracket/shifter cables to the the tranny are tight. Have you checked the fluid lately?

i havent checked the fluid but the clutch has 3,000k on it i looked at the fluid in the master and its fine. I think its something inside.

What about the gear oil inside the tranny? Thats what I was talking about.

ya thats fine i just drained it and looked fine to me

check your shift cables. i had an issue similar when the boot over the cable ripped and let the cable go where ever it wanted.

Any clunking or ticking noises coming from the gear box?

The only noise it started making was there was a a little whing noise not loud thoe but it was coming from the transmission
