Transmission compatibility for 1st gen

ok, I did some searchng and couldn't find my answer so my question is will an a/t FWD turbo Transmission be interchangeable with a a/t FWD N/T transmission? I'm asking because someone local needs an a/t tranny and I have two, but they're turbo's, what all would I have to change if I did decide to replace it?

The answer is no. They are different.

If they're both 2.0's he may only need a few different pieces like the tranny mount and starter backing plate. Then again he may also need to use the turbo fwd front and rear engine mounts too. I've never done this swap, but I had to use all those parts when putting a turbo 5 speed tranny into my car.
