Transmission clunking/rattling, doesn't move in gear

So I was heading to work, and got a mile down the road to a stoplight and heard this sound like an exhaust rattle so I didn't pay much attention to it, only happened if I revved up the engine. But I went to put it in gear and drive and it wouldnt move . Tried all the other gears and nothing, I replacedy cv axles hoping that was the problem cause they were bad but that was a stupid choice on my part. So any ideas? I'm not sure how to upload videos for sound
