Tranny noise, and sticky pedal..

Well today I noticed while in neutral(mainly at a stop) when i would push the clutch ALL the way to the floor, I would hear a quick grinding/whiny sound. It never does this while driving only while at a stop, IN NEUTRAL.

Also, occasionally when I push in the clutch pedal, I feel alittle resistance. Like when fishing, and you feel the fish nibble your bait through your rod. About that much opposite pressure...Any ideas??

Well I have and had a similar problem with my tranny too. Whenever you rest your foot on the clutch you feel a vibration or puslation pushing back at you. Then eventually your shit won't go into gear. In my case after I ripped the tranny apart, I found that the throwout bearing is part metal and part plastic and the plastic part decided to wanted to melt and take a shit on me. Anyways the big reason for my problem is that the throwout bearing seemed to clamp onto the the metal rod it goes around and break it off. It happend to me once in june, and I'm on my second tranny, it happend again to me last week, and I'm fed up. I'm going for a new clutch, and having all that reenfored and seeing if I can find a full metal throwout bearing.
