yesterday i was getting onto the highway and down shifted from 5th to 3rd, it felt like the car never came out of 5th and i tried shifting but it stayed in 5th. i pulled over and the car died. i started it back up and it stayed running as long as i kept my foot on the clutch. I'm able to put the car through the gears but regaurdless of what gear i put it in it stays in 5th. i had to get it towed home and when i was rolling off the flat bed it made a sound like somethin was stuck made a noise every time the tire went around once... i dont know if that helps at all but any advice would be appreciated

Sounds like you're stuck in gear, well first thing i would do is check the shift cables to see if they in tact

Yeh broken shift cable or broken shift fork. Try shift it manually by the transmission. Or have someone shift it while you watch the gear selector on transmission.

i had somebody go through the gears manually while i watched and it went into every gear fine, its got a ACT 2600 with the stock flywheel and had trouble dis-engaging so im thinkin somethin might of just went in the tranny

well my car did the same thing one time but it got stuck in third it felt like it went into other gears fine but did not come out of third in my situation my tranny was gone so worse case scenario is your tranny is done
but good luck with that
