I just recently did a clutch and flywheel swap .I am right now in the middle of putting the tranny and all other stuff back on. Couple problems i noticed while doing this:
1. I have the tranny, Transfercase, and starter all bolted in. I can freely move the clutchfork back and forth and can hear the TOB and such hitting the pressure plate and back again. Is this normal or should it not move that much at all??? The slave cylinder is not hooked up to it.
2. I put the shifer cables back onto the tranny and bolted them down. When i go to change gears while sitting there, it is REAL hard sliding the shifter over to the 1 and 2 spot but goes into gear fine. WHen i mean stiff i mean i have to push REAL hard over to between 1st and 2nd and then somewhat hard into 1st and 2nd. Also when you usually put the shifter into N it usually goes real easy and you can just wiggle the knob around while in N. When im in N the shifter doesnt have a specific spot for N but rather wherever you leave it.
Any help on these problems will be greatly appreciated.
