Like people here, I have a bad tranny that needs to be fixed. I have a FWD TSI. You guys know if the internals of a AWD tranny will go into a FWD tranny? I'm looking to buy one to do this. Also can shifting grinds be fixed by replacing parts like the sycros and stuff that helps shift? I had a tranny that went bad over the weekend. I drove over 300 miles and the tranny started grinding in every gear. The car didn't want to move. While in gears, the tranny was very lound. I got a ride back home and got my spare tranny I got from the junk, drove all the way back and installed it. This tranny also doesn't work so good. 2nd gear grinds bad and makes loud winding sound when letting the car roll in gear. At least I made it home. Riverside back to Fresno.
