how had is it to fix transmission seals? im looking at a 2g tsi that needs tranny seals for 1500 is it worth it

Which seals?

Input shaft seal? Must pull trans
Axle seals? Pull wheels dismount spindle and pull c/v's out of trans
Case seals Some can be done in the car others require pulling of trans. (not for the novice mechanic)

so either way i would have to pull the tranny? are they expensive to fix cause its a 95 tsi fwd auto for 1500

give them $1k. No more. Tell them you have no way of knowing that the seals are the only thing wrong with it.

well.... How many miles?

I did not realize auto. No you do not have to remove the transmission for: pan gasket and axle seals.
For an auto if the pump it leaking you must remove the transmission also if the case seals are leaking you must disasemble the transmission.

Like Tyson said if its leaking and fluid level neglected it may need to be rebuilt some time in the near future.

the guy said it needs tranny seals he said it leaks transmission fluid fast he said he would take 1k for it heres the link to it and yes the ricer wing would be going LOL
95 TSI Talon SUNROOF! TURBO!

and are 2g tsi autos any good my friend michael said they can build boost pretty well and stay with it idk if its true or not
