The main objective with my car is to go very fast in the 1/4 but right now hondas smoke me cause i cant grab traction off the line or I get very bad turbo lag and almost kill it. My friend has a 300z tt and If were already moving I can hang with him, I just look really stupid when out racing and have to launch my car. Any and all suggestions would be helpful. :dsm:

Traction problems? Unheard of....all four of your tires don't spin together?? WTF

Haha..sorry...

Seriously..some things you could do:

Upgrade shocks & springs
Polyurethane Engine Mounts (For wheel hop)
Let a little air out of your tires...hey it might help a bit.
Stickier tires
Limited Slip Differential (LSD)

Some things you could do if you really mean business:

AWD Conversion

On a side note dude, you should update your Mods list. Be a little more specific on what you have..be proud of those parts! Especially when asking for help like this, it makes it easier for people to help you.

practice for one. Better tires and LSD next.

I agree. My buddy still pulled a 2.0 60' in his FWD on drag radials without a LSD. The car made 340whp/350wtq on the dyno so it wasn't the easiest thing to do but if you work at it long enough you will get it down.

This has been covered here more times than I can count. Please try to search out archives and thread history. But, a_scobel's post is basically a summarized version of what you're going to find out.

An LSD will help immensely. Slicks are a great help as well. But go ahead and search around for a bit, and you should come across some very valuable tech information and advice. Best of luck.
