traction problems on 1g fwd. HELP!!!

i have a 1990 fwd turbo eclipse with a big 16g full 3 inch exhaust, down pipe, test pipe, stock fuel system. im have problems with traction. what should i go with suspension wise. i am running 14 psi and traction in first and part of second is an absolute joke. also what tires should i go with i still have the stock rims.

well i already have an awd but i also want a fwd. makes it more fun to have both.

it depends what you want to do with it, but im guessing you like drag. in that case, get super stiff rear springs and stock if not softer fronts. wider tires, better tires, etc

Get some 245/45/16 tires with soft sidewalls, such as the Nitto drag radial. Stay away from Azenis. The Kumho MX is a decent compromise if you also want some ability to turn.

Then your problem will be wheel hop. So plan on stiffening the motor mounts and the suspension bushings.

The Koni/AGX combo would help, too. Leave the Konis at full soft and crank up the AGXs.
