So far this is all totally helping me out. i already got 1 set of the smaller ones the OP listed.
Plan to put them on this weekend

So when you do this... let's say you're going for a launch... the nose of the car won't rise up as high, right?
Because the strings become stiffer, not as much torque transfers to the rear. (if i am understanding this correctly.

Now my thoughts... i see your dilemma with the tien springs probably having a smaller coil diameter. so you used two sets of the smaller ones. understandable. the OP said he couldn't get 2 sets in his (or at least not 2 of the large ones. so i wonder if you could use 1 set of large and 1 set of the smaller on stock springs. and if so... how? obviously you would try to column them again i would think. but would the large one go on the top or the bottom?

The OP explained that he couldn't get 2 sets of the big ones int here but he successfully put a 1 set of the bigger ones and 1 set of the smaller ones, so 2 sets in total. He also said that he placed the larger ones closer to the bottom of the spring and the smaller ones higher up. And yea you have the concept down, the stiffer springs in the back will cause the back to squat less and the front of the car rises less on a launch, giving you more contact patch.

Habitatguy, I'm, guessing you did this on OEM springs? I just tried doing this on Eibach Pro springs and its a no go. I couldn't even get 1 of the smaller spacers in there. I do like the idea though.

Would an alignment be suggested too if using just the stock springs? or since i am talking stock springs... would it not be needed?

If ride height changes, which it will, then yes.

About the comment on these making the rear stiffer. It may, but not much. I'd actually expect the rear to be softer. Whats happening is you're limiting travel. Less travel = no rubbing. Just using the example I read above.

I have stock springs and I couldnt get the bigger ones in, The smaller ones went in easy. ride height didnt change for me but it really seems like the ride is much stiffer.

Im guessing that the big ones fit on a 1g but wont fit on a 2g. but the small ones work great..

TO THE OP, thanks for the idea.

why not just get meaghan coilovers there cheap? that way your not stuffing crap in your springs.

i agree. the big ones didn't work for me on stock springs so i used 2 sets of the smaller ones

Maybe it's an N/T thing? I had a REALLY hard time getting them to fit, and there's no possible way they would've went in without lubing them up, but it was still hard.

Are they cheaper than $16? How about easier or less time consuming? Didn't think so.

And I apologize to everyone for not getting pics up, and unfortunately now it's too late, as I basically eliminated nearly all spring-travel by welding in some bars. I'm not going to give a step-by-step to that one though because I don't want anyone to hurt themselves and I don't want to hear all the women on here (no offense nothingfiction) tell me how dangerous and stupid it is.
