Ok so I went to the track to do some baseline pulls. Pretty un-impresive times best was 16 flat, however, I missed second gear in every single run. On the street at normal rpm's I don't have any problems, even on the highway with a big wind-up I don't have any problems. At the track, I have big problems. I have been trying to shift to second between 6500-7000 to absolutely no avail I just grind. I tried double clutching to rev-match, no good at high rpm's, I just don't know what I'm doing wrong. Somebody please help, I'm sure this is driver error. Do I need to shift at lower rpm's? Thanks for any input, I could really use the help.

Unfortunately, this post just became moot. After my conversation with Shep this morning I am convinced my tranny is toast. That sucks, broke my tranny first time at the track. BTW my tranny was rebuilt about 35000 miles ago and is filled with GM syncromesh, I don't know what caused it to fail...but driver error was definately a contribution. I should have stopped driving after the third time it grinded so badly, then I would probably be looking at new synchro's imstead of a whole new tranny. Oh well, such is life in the DSM world.
