2G tps resistance values

what are the range of resistances on the 2g tps from 0 throttle to wot, i am getting an overload when moving the throttle barely any, this is on pins 2 and 4, any thoughts?

Mits Manual says standard value between terminals 1 & 4 is 3.5-6.5K ohms. Between terminals 2 & 4 it says the values should change smoothly with throttle position but not go outside the standard value.
