tps problem

Hey fellas, I tried to adjust my tps volts ,so at idle i could see 0.63v and at wot 5v. So I rotated the tps,and the lowest i could go was 1,19v as of 19% of throttle. I couldnt rotate more,because the holes for a bolts on a tps wont let me turn more to make my voltage lower....... Where it could be the problem? Can anyone explain me this?

Did you try rotating both directions from center to verify that's the lowest you could go? Also check the tension on your throttle cable to make sure it's not sitting open a bit.

Maybe you have a bad TPS. Happen to have another you could try?

Mine is a 1g but maybe this will help....
I am having the same exact problem... I replaced my TPS and no difference so. The answer I have gotten is an ECU problem. unfortunatly I have not gotten a chance to swap my ECU and see for sure yet though. Unbolt your tps and test it again to see if it will adjust more without the bolts stopping it.

Have either of you set the TPS with a voltmeter first to see what you can do with that? Or did you both jump right to using software (e.g. link)?

Brian,My old tps had low voltage,so i bought another one off Scott (LiQUiDx). When the tps was out,i connected the harness and tried to rotate, when i turned one way i had 5v. And when i let it go, i had 0v. After i bolted to TB,the lowest voltage i could get (idle) was 1.19v (logging on dsmlink wih tps scale disabled). And when i tried to use the TPS adjust tool,my offset scale was terrible ( -49)

is it possible ,that my throttle plate stopper is adjusted wrong? (1g tb),so ,thats why i cant turn the tps more to make the voltage lower???
