I replaced my torque converter but the only available one from the trans shops has coarse thread and mine was fine thread so I need to know which set of bolts gives you course thread. extrempsi sells a 6bolt and a 7bolt variety but neither list pitch.

According to the source in post #2, the 7-bolt appears to have a thread pitch of 1.25 vs the 6-bolt having a 1.5 pitch. It does , however, notate that the pitch is uncertain for both versions of the torque converter-to-flex plate bolts.

The converters available through transtar are only coarse pitch, i called extreme psi and they went to their hardware and got me the right bolts... they were the 6 bolt.

The old torque converter i had used fine pitch.. extreme got me squared away though.
