Torn between 2 turbo's!

With fwd your gonna have traction problems regardless of what turbo you choose. That's why I'd get the 20g to make it up on the top end. I had a big 28 on my gst and loved it but it wasn't long before I wished I had bought atleast a 20g or lager.

Of caurse there will still be traction issues, even with an LSD and suspension. No one or two things will eliminate it altogether. Everying on a car works together. Therefore parts and systems must work in harmony to acheive one goal. Peeps understand this about making power, what's so hard about undertanding this with suspension and traction?
Like I said, the lsd combined with drag radials will give good traction. A good suspension just helps in this. Take care of the traction issues first. Just my $.02
I repeat:
power is uselless without traction! :thumb:

This is a question I've been pondering for the last six months.

MY question is: If you decide to go 20g over 16g or a T28, will the 20g require a better fuel setup. Can you still get aenough fuel with 550's a 190 lph pump and a small front mount or large sidemount?

My biggest worry about the 20g is that it may be too big of a turbo with that type of fuel intercooler setup.

With my GST Vert I'd love to go 20g with a Profec, but am afraid that the fuel setup I listed won't be enough.

I tried not to get off topic with this question, but hope that this will help you and I when making this decision.

Depends on if you want to maximize the 20g... lots of people race with 550cc's and a 20g but are most likel at over 90% duty cycles making it much harder to tune. If you want to run to the top of what a 20g can handle Id recommend at leist 650cc's, and the 190 is prolly ok for that though...

no you shouldn't need a AFPR with that...I think they depend more on the fuel pump. But you don't need them unless you are getting really deep and advanced into tuning. So I have been told. So I'm just getting 255 and 660's. Still haven't decided on turbo yet, b16g-20g-L2R-or FP Green.
