Hey i am putting a 6-bolt block on my 2g since it spun a bearing and broke 3 rods, i want to put in new rod bearings, i know clevite are the best and whatnot but i don't want the best i want something good and reliable, since my car won't go more than 13.5 as this is my goal, well i was looking at the topline at SBR and they are the cheapest set and are OEM quality, anyone have nay experience with these??

Should i use them??

Thanks

I put them in mine, no problems.

Just get the Clevite's. If you feel they are the best, then spend the $26 and get them.
I dont know about you, but if I could pay a couple bucks more for the best as opposed to a product that is questionable......I would pay the couple bucks. I'm not trying to be a jerk, but Clevites are good, reliable, and affordable. I dont see the problem with them.

Yea, I'd vote for clevites as well. They are only 39.99 at SBR...worth every penny IMO. I just put a set on my car and all the clearences were right on. I've heard mixed reviews about Topline, but nothing bad about Clevites. Choice is up to you, chances are the Toplines will be fine, but I didn't want to skimp on my build. I would hate to have my motor fail because I didn't spend $10 more on good proven bearings.
