Just a little scoop on this pile of poop:

The only data I have for it is from a draggy. On the street on 300 treadwear tires my best is 6.1 1/8 and 133mph in the 1/8. I really don’t drag race the car but it has bottom 9 high 8s in it on a tire and prep. That being said, I plan to run in the 10.5 index at shootout because the car doesn’t have the safety in it to make a single digit pass.

Setup is a 4g63 7bolt 2.3 w/ off the shelf Manley ibeam Wiseco HD pistons. Morrison fab twin scroll manifold on a PTE 6466 next gen. Jmf billet intake manifold, Ross throttle body, 2600cc injectors, 535/525/525 radium fuel surge setup, AGR billet everything trans, stock restalled converter hanging on for dear life, Boostin billet tcase (still stock gears), DSS CF driveshaft and rear axles, stock 2g rear diff w/ spares on standby and almost a complete carbonetics fiberglass body.

Last time it was on a dyno it made 620 hp? at 35psi. It was a mustang dyno through an auto and at that time it was stock manifold, stock tb, small turbine housing. Now that those are no longer on the car and I’m now running 45-50psi pretty regular now… who knows what it makes. Call it 630hp

The goal was never to drag race it. It’s not really a “drag car”. That being said, I’m doing a lot with a little compared to others. If you have more than me and I gap you… save your money and stick to the car shows. Regardless, it would just be cool to chop down the tree in 10.5 index class and then if eliminated, pull the bottom of the wastegate lines and send it on a t&t pass to get an official number. This engine is 2 years in and I’m ready to retire it. I have a built 2.2 on standby but I really don’t have any goals or motivation for the car. After having my son, he’s my new hobby so I’m treating this year as my last and we will see what happens on its own next year.
