Just put 24 oz of freon in my ac I know it says 23 and when I turn on my ac at idle it works fine the idle compensates but when I go for a drive and stop my idle starts dropping and raising just need some input or ideas on this???

Does it do it with the AC off? If you are getting idle surge that usually points to the ISC, regardless if it is all the time or just with the AC on.

No only with ac on if I'm correct we have a pressure sensor on the ac line that tells the ecu when to turn the compressor on and off well I noticed when the idle surges the ac starts kicking on and off the ac compressor to be exact .

just a heads up make sure to get the system serviced because i know service shops drain and oil before adding refrigerant if the ac clutch isn't serviced properly there is a chance that the clutch will seize and break if not sheer it self right off and its not a pretty sight so see so just a heads up.
