ive been having a problem with my car making some weird whistling noises. the car was feeling sluggish and today it got even worse! everyone said it was a boost leak. i took it to the shop and they said something happened where the the turbo is taking in to much air so when i go hard on the gas to will start to "bog down". i dont know how that happened and i dont want to pay for them to fix it. is there any suggestions how to fix it myself or what i can do? please help!!!

Its most likely a boost leak. You won't have to pay for a shop to do anything if you just follow this instructional: IC Pipe Tester
It should only cost like 10 bucks to make, and will help you out so many times. Best tool to get right here.

If I could I would but I'm a little far away from you. You just get a hose clamp and clamp the rubber to the turbo inlet. And then you use an air compressor and set it to like 15psi and pressurize the system and listen for leaks. Also fill a spray bottle with soapy water and spray around all the couplers to see if it bubbles up anywhere. And if it does, well you've found your boost leak.
