I have a bullseye to4b-vtrim turbo that needs rebuild. I have a few options I found. First I could just buy a new center cartridge from bullseye for 350.00. Second I can buy a rebuild kit for 80.00 and ship it out to get it balanced for 50.00. Has anyone ever rebuilt this turbo? It doesn't look that hard to rebuild. Any info would be great. Thanks.

Are the wheel still in good shape?? they did not make contact with the housings? If it is just smoking and the wheel have not made contact. just a quick refresh would be fine. If they wheels are messed up get the new cartridge.

The wheel are still great shape. I talked to a couple of turbo rebuilding places the told me I should send it to them. Which I know the just want my money. I think I am going to go ahead and buy the rebuild kit. Thanks for the help.

On mine, Somthing had shot threw my engine into my turbo (my guess it was carbon build up beacuse everything looked good). I replaced the whole cartridge for $350. It seriously took me maybe 1 hour to drop the turbo, swap the cartridge, bolt the turbo back and up and start beating on the car again.
