I installed a South Bend stage two clutch about 1000 miles ago. Of course my tranny finally gives out so im putting another one on.

When I installed the clucth had trouble finding someone who could turn the flywheel. Finally found someone but was so pressed for time i jist buffed it up with some Emery cloth and installed it. Didnt look that bad but I was getting a very tiny bit of clutch chatter. Mostly going into third a slow speeds but wasnt bad at all. Gradually got a little better through break in but still present.

Since its not that bad, and the clutch is already broken in. Should I get the flywheel turned or could that make it worse?

Thanks for any input

Thats what I thought. Wish I wouldve found that place sooner and done it the first time. Everyone said the hole was too small and wouldnt fit on their lathe.

Maybe it'll gradually keep getting better. Its tolerable and not bad at all. Thanks for your help
