Yea but you should see how fast I come down!

Seriously, I'm shocked at some of the brake set ups run on cars. There's the 'overkill' set up on a couple of cars- FSL calipers on 1.25" wide rotors run on a certain big team (and they complain the carr is fat!) and then there's the low buck guys some 20 year old two pot calipers and street car rotors. Even some like Wells running aluminum rotor who can't understand why the brakes don't work all that great....It's very diverse.

On the plus side I can say the same front calipers (NDL) are on the car today that were put in in he fall of 1999 and it's on the second set of rear calipers (DL) in it's life. All run in the most dusty conditions you'd imagine. The rears replaced due to lots of rock damage being jammed between the caliper body and the inner wheel area. (and someone wanted the old one! yikes)
