to shim or not to shim?

Should I shim my brand new OEM clutch fork, my old one bent and I also bought a extended rod, I would rather shim the pivot point instead of even putting the extended rod on.But yea what do you guys think i should do, I am running a ACT 2600 BTW.

If it's needed, shim the pivot ball before you extend the slave cyl. rod. 1.0-1.5mm usually does the trick.

I got a 2600/street disc with a Taboo fork. No shim but I do have the extended Rod And it works Grate.
