Had mine for about 3 years now and im ready for it to get gone. It doesnt help boost creep any and its just plain LOUD. :rolleyes:

The majority of arguments all lead to the conclusion that a dumped exhaust on a street driven vehicle is not necessary unless you have something making above-average (300WHP+). For my application (which is modest at the moment) it did not solve boost creep in the winter. It can still creep past 20psi if I allow it.

Whoever said adding a dump tube doesn't have any performance gain is a flippin moron.

I had a full 3'' turbo back exhaust before I installed my o2 dump. Took some modifacations to make it work how i wanted, but once it was on, I blew 2 I/C couplings in 30 minutes from the added gains.

You dump exhaust quicker. Period. Instead of the turbine gas mixing with your exhaust manifold gas, you split them up into 2 seperate tubes. This reduces the area to surface ratio for the gases tremendously at WOT.

Even with a maxed out exhaust system, i still got performance gains with a dump tube.

The only thing I would warn about people getting one (and this goes hand in hand with what the other guy said about a daily driver) is that when you don't fully gas it, and are nearing WOT, its gonna be either black or white. Meaning: Either hit full psi, cruise it, or do shorter boost pulls.

When that wastegate opens and you start dumping and u take ## foot off the gas, you'll jolt your car like its freakin running on 210cc injectors pushing 25 psi. Theres no happy medium really, so a daily driver on this means you have to either go balls out on acceleration, or drive more modestly.

But it is definately loud as hell, ADDS horsepower, unrestricts your exhaust flow, and will scare the hell out of just about anyone when you hit WOT. The look on peoples faces is priceless enough.
