wow i saw the vid of the external dump and i like it :)

im trying to take in all this info..

im new in to this subject.. so if i was to get o2 eliminator dp with INTERNAL dump.. but in the future get external wastegate that dumps to atmosphere.. does it make the same sound? its starting to confuse me, but im trying to learn.. dont some people mount the wastegate on the o2? but most on the manifold? i guess thats a different subject but im sure they somehow all tie in together...

Externally dumping, be it from an internal gate or external gate will sound the same.

OK well after about 12 hrs. of breaking stuff I finally got it on. To find out it was built wrong it dosnt work. The Down Pipe won’t bolt onto the o2 housing. And If it did bolt up the angle is so radical that it brings my down pipe extremely close to the oil filter, this means if I where to bolt it up I would have to take the down pipe off every time I wanted to change the oil, there is no way that’s going to work. I am really pissed, The o2 sensor was cross-threaded when It was put in from the factory so it got ruined when I finally got it out. I had to heat it with a torch to get it out. So after I got that crap done the 02dump wouldn’t bolt up I couldn’t get the bolt in against the block to go in. I then had to drop the turbo to get this to go on. After dropping the turbo I finally got the o2 housing on everything back together and my damn down pipe wont bolt up……… the 02 dump was built wrong. So I had to take everthing back off and put it back to stock. I spent 12 hrs getting nowhere but breaking stuff. Now Dreed who makes the 02 housing wont respond to my e-mails to get my money back!!!!! What can I do?

I have a quick question I have a custom made exhaust system, so the down pipe is custom. The exhaust system is great it fits awesome my question is do you think my exhaust has something to do with the 02 dump not fitting or do you think the 02 dump was made wrong? The downpipe fits up to the stock o2 housing perfect? should the aftermarket 02 dump be the same as stock measurement and fit wise? So If I spend the extra money and get one from VP will it work, keeping in mind that my custom downpipe fits perfect to my stock 02 housing? I just dont want to get another 02dump and have to go through this all again.

Here are come pics I took comparing the 02 dump to the stock o2 housing, should the o2 dump and the stock o2 housing be the same in lenght?

The welding is the worst I have seen thus far. I hope it's not mandreed you bought from. His O2 eliminator has so many leaks it takes more $$ to cover the leaks.

i have the same dump 02 from the same guy and i got mine mounted up fine i had asked him if he makes them all the same he said "excactly"
the bolts go into the down pipe ok ? or is the holes not matching up to the turbo ? i had to use shorter bolts i put the nuts on top closet to the turbo and the bolt head closest to the ground and thew my impact on it and it pulled togeather. i wish i had a digatal cam. to take a picture maybe i can take a picture at my job with there cam. i'll let you know tonight.
