How many of you with the msd dis II set up run a boost retard? And is a must have part to run with dis II?

You don't need a boost retard on a car that is factory turbocharged. You can use the rpm based retard however if you have really large injectors in your car and are running an afc. WHen you minus the air flow you ecu thinks there is less air so it advances timing more. To combat this when you have 750cc injectors and 25psi of boost and are seeing 26* of advance you could use the rpm based retard to pull 1-2* at 4500 rpm and up from there per 1000 rpm kinda thing. But boost based retard could work as well but just more stuff you have to buy to make it work when RPM based will work just fine for most of us.

Unelss your runing into problems with really high timing from large injectors you needn't worry about it.
