Well, the heavy red wire is to go to the battery's positive terminal. I think you are referring to where to the harness plugs into the box; the red wires are connected together to make like a y-harness. That connection runs to what they have listed as a Radio Interface Capacitor. It is not a nessacery connection. The 2 brown wires w/ orange trace are your positive coil back wires, but on the DIS-2 box I have here, they are not sodered together.
