I just bought a TMO stage 3 chip and was wondering if anyone knows what is special about the "special" wire that the TMO site mentions. I didn't receive a wire with my chip because the guy who I bought it from forgot, so I just wanted to make my own instead of waiting for it to get shipped. If anyone knows if there is anything "special" that I have to do to get the clutch wire to work, PLEASE let me know.

TIA :thumb:

...of course I went there...

Just wanted to make sure that it was just like what the picture looks like, which is a single wire with 3 ends.

There is a a little diode or something in there. I cant remember the name of it but it keeps the electricity flowing one way only and you need one of those to make it work right. It is not just a piece wire with three ends. I believe that I still have a PM from when I bought one from a member here on the board for 10 bones.

So just use one diode in the wire going to the ECU and I should be good? Do you know what the diode needs to be rated at?
