I'm checking for my 96 Talon TSi, I've heard they work and i have heard they dont, just curious on everyones opinions.

Did you even read my first post..You have to find out if you have an eprom ecu before going with any chip..Then you have to socket or get the ecu socketed in order to put the chip in..

Secondly I also gave you the link for dsmlink, which is the prefered tunig method of most of the population here on tuners..

Like (Bud92gsx) just state it.

You need an Eprom ECU, which it has the Chip, so you can remove the chip and install the After market Chip.
The Non Eprom ECU doesn't comes with the Chip, so you won't be able to install the Chip.
At that Site that (Bud92gsx) insert, You can find the Information about all what comes to ECU.
They can convert your Non Eprom to Eprom which will save you some money going that rout if you don't want to buy an Eprom ECU.

By the way.

The Chip that you are looking at is, Just a Gas saver, which will save you some money at end of the Year.
I don't think that it will gain some power while saving some amount of gas.

(MORE POWER MEANS MORE GAS)

So, if you are trying to put some money in your packet, then, is your choice.
Personally, I wouldn't.

If you are planing on boosting up, then Don't buy it, because you won't be able to gain power with bolt on upgrades.

Tell that to Ford. 2011 Ford Mustang v-6, 300+ horsepower, 30+ mpg. Combustion efficiency. There are plenty of OEM turbocharged cars that actually get better mileage than their N/A counterparts, due to increased combustion efficiency.
There are many many things you can do with an older engine to increase both power AND fuel efficiency. I am not saying this chip is one of them.

dont wast you time on a chip, get dsmlink. you would able to do so many things using dsmlink. trust me you would love it.
