quick, simple question.
when i bought my tires i researched specifically what i needed/wanted. my friend on the other hand realized he needs new tires and just asked me about what brands are good/cheap and what not. I know what tires i'd buy but i couldn't tell him one way or the other about the ones he mentioned so i figured you guys could help me/him out a little.
i told him my KDWs are great, but cost me 500 bucks, and he seems like he wants to go for the ones that cost more like 300. anyway he searched ebay for some 205/40/17s and started rattling off names. i just did the same search and here are some:
Khumo AST
Nitto Neo Gen
Nankang NS1
Nexen N3000
Falken Zeix
Toyo Proxes 4 (i know toyos are good tires but he didn't ask me about them)
are they poor/decent/good? thanks. also, before you ask, these are just tires that will fit his rims and look cool and so he can drive safely. no auto-x, no racing, etc. (although he's my friend and we've grown up together,
, i can't deny he's got a ricer mentality. rims and body kit and fiberglass sub enclosure on his civic hatch, but no performance related mods.)
