2G Tire size for stock gsx wheel

Looking to get new tires for gsx wheels, don't know if I should stick with the siZe there in now(225/50) but read that going wider or taller side wall will decrease handling. Looking to get the best handling out of gsx wheels on the streets.

OEM is 215/45/17 but I have always run 225/45/17 over the years. Doesnt really change the feel much but does give you a slightly larger traction patch and definitely looks a bit more aggressive.

225/45 is the best size for thise in my opinion, going wider will make it feel wobbly

I have 215/50 and I look like I'm on minivan tires. I'm switching to 225/45 for reasons stated above.

Thanx for the feedback. The car came with 225/50 might explain the reason why I lost traction on the curves wrecking the car after owning it a week.

did u need wheel spacers to run 225 45 17. my friend needed them on his gsx cause he was rubbing on the rear knuckle arm a little but i think he also had a 50 wall.
