2G Stock wheel/tire size

Guys,

does anybody know what was the STOCK wheel/tire size for the 2g Eclipses, 95-96?

I know it came out with 15" wheels, but I would like to know the factory size of the tire?

anything higher than an rs trim package came with 205/55/16's on 16x6.5(i believe) wheels. in 97, the awd models came with 215/50/17, if im not mistaken.

Look on either the end of the driver's door or along the "C" pillar for tire and wheel size sticker - which also lists the recommended tire pressures per size from the factory.

1G's stock are 205-55R-16 ... - DSM

I have a stock 97 Talon TSI AWD with the 17" wheels. Can I put 225/45/17's on the stock wheel?

To answer rdrink25 , yes you can put 225/45R17 tires on stock gsx wheels.

The stock 17" wheel is 6.5 wide. I would follow the tire manufacturers guideline for rim width.
