tire choice.

Looking for best all season or atleast dry tire with rain help that can withstand atleast 160mph. Let me know what tires I need. Im running stock gst wheels. I have hoosier qtps but oviosly not ganna waste em on the street .

continental extreme contact DWS for all season or just DW for dry/wet
z rated. pretty awesome tire all around if you ask me.
not sure on 160 though, my car won't go that fast.
managed 130 though

was doing (very stupidly) 70-80 in about 4 inches of snow as well(not plowed). never slipped or felt like i was out of control once.

What he said! I would have told you Michelin, but recent problems with them have changed my mind about them. Continental is the way to go.

I like my Ventus V12 evo K110's as a street tire. I have a set that are 255/40/17. They are Y rated (186mph) and do well both in the rain and the dry. I drove them in the snow and they were alright. I had to drop the air pressure, as they were rock hard below freezing. But the tread did stay cleared out well. Treadwear is good.

I'd also recommend Dunlop Direzza ZII's and Hankook RS-3's. The Dunlop's will handle wet weather better. Neither will do snow.

Great info doesnt really snow here so not to worried about that. Ill check out these tires keep em coming. On a side note do the proxes4 I still have are they outdated tires or still ok? Im still looking for a new tire the dw are looking good. Update: just learned what letters stand for mph rating. Never been a tire man learn something new everyday .

What about Michelin Super Sport? I don't have personal experience yet but as soon as mine are gone I'll give them a try. Been reading and watching reviews and they are the best rated tire everywhere. Actually they came stock on the 458 Italia and 911 turbo so that should tell you something.

I currently have the Proxes 4. They work quite well in the wet, and even better in the dry. Up here in Sandy, we get a bit more snow than PDX, and I was surprised how well they did in the white stuff (by well, I mean I wasn't stuck at the bottom of the hill).

If you're considering a slightly cheaper tire, I ran the Zexius Xi 427. Great tire for the price. Close to the Proxes 4 in wet/dry performance, but does not like the snow.
