timing marks

[No Mo STi]

So I'm cleaning my shit all up for the race tomorrow and I notice that my cam gears are not even. The gear to the left is one tooth off going counter clockwise. I'm not sure which cam this is exhaust or intake? How many degree's is this? Is this normal for a 272 cam? They were just put in a few weeks ago. I doubt it's anything major but just thought I check before I got rape the shit out of her tomorrow. Thanks in advance. (Go Indians)

Its not hard at all to tell which cam is which when they are in the car... i dunno about the 272 cam...they should line up the same as stock would.....have you ran the motor yet..and thats how you bend valves, so i would double check everything

It is the exhaust cam (obviously b/c its on the front side of the motor) and one tooth is 7.5* of timing. I was thinking about it last night. It wouldn't bend a valve b/c a adjustable cam gear can adjust a lot more then 7.5 degrees. I should be ok...i hope
