Timing kit

So I need a timing kit, I deleted the balance shafts so I only need to get 2 pulleys, tensioner and the belt.

where are these kits cheap?

Also what else should I know?

JNZtuning is where I got mine. They have the best prices on OEM Mitsubishi parts (call and talk to Paul).

Lots of people use Parts Dinosaur, which is supposed to be OEM, but not Mitsubishi.

What else do you need to know? If your water pump isn't new, replace that as well. Read up on the VFAQ, double and triple check everything. Don't mess around with the tension, make sure it is right before you continue. It's a whole lot easier with the engine out of the car! I guess that's about it.

Did you read my post? I shopped around and went with JNZtunng. It's not going to be cheap either way you look at but you are getting quality parts so it's worth it.

^ priced about right. The gates is a bit more pricey than the OEM
