Timing jumping around at idle ?

on my laptop logger it shows 8-13, with the timing light it jumps also. i have a 2g with a 1g cas swap i'm not really sure if i should set it to 5 deg or what the logger says ?

your timing is going to fluctuate at idle. you have to ground your timing for you to get a steady number.
