Timing and BS belt - labor??

What's a reasonable estimate for labor on timing and BS belt, all components, and water pump replacement?? Specifically, what has everyone paid for labor to do this job. I'm perfectly capable of doing the job myself, I just have nowhere to work and very little time to spare anymore. Thanks in advance.

Oh yeah, 92 GSX, bone stock with 104K. Just got it.

might as well get the water pump done while your at it..i am not sure the exact price..i was quoted somewhere in the realm of 500-550 for timing belt balance shaft belt and water pump.. but i havent called but one place..and it was a performance shop..i will update tomorrow when i call around more.

When I first had my car I didnt want to mess with it and had a local mechanic i knew who works out of his garage do it. Replaced waterpump,timing belt, BS belt ,etc for around 500 bucks including the parts. Seems like the local dealer wanted 6 something just to do the timing belt.

I had my 100k maitenence done (timing belt , water pump, belts, etc) and a few other things (dumb @ss who owned the car before me rebuilt the engine before giving it to me and did a sh*tty job, i had to get a few extra things done) and i got a full inspection (including engine components, hoses, wiring incase he farked those up too) and a new pair of brake pads... cost - about 400-450 dollars, yeah its cool when your dad knows the owner of the auto service place sure does help when u own a DSM..
